OSA in school: the first experience
One day exploring the OSA.org I came across the Optics Suitcase by Rochester Section, a set of different optics stuff and handouts made for presentations in middle school. As a teacher I took an interest and filled in online form to order it. In spite of problems on Russian customs (big black case packed with a lot of strange things made officers crazy, I suppose) it came to Moscow pretty fast. I prepared a plan of a special lesson about light organised around handouts from this suitcase and asked my friends (Sergey Stremoukhov and Fedor Potemkin) from our OSA Student Chapter to help me in this activity. Here you can see some “how it was” photos (thanks to Irina Zhvania, our secretary and photographer).
